Symmetric Computing provides large memory, high performance computing servers for cloud access. These are dedicated servers that are perfect for Big Data and high performance computing applications with large in-memory needs. Servers are hosted in a secure Boston based facility with 1 Gbps Internet access and UPS power loss protection. Each server comes with a public IP address. A choice of Centos 6.9 / 7.4 or Ubuntu 16.04 Linux operating systems is provided. The operating system is pre-loaded directly on the server with no underlying hypervisor. Base monthly fee includes two disk drives, which can be configured as mirrored, stripped or stand-alone. Additional drives can be added at additional cost.
